    City Museum of Šibenik (Monday, 25. February 2019.)

    Sibenik’s museum was founded on 20 December 1925, during the
    thousandth anniversary of the Croatian kingdom. It is situated in Duke's ex
    palace near the cathedral. T he renovation of Duke’s Palace was completed
    in 1975 and it enabled the now contemporary museum for work.
    City Museum is a of complex type museum, consisting of archaeological,
    cultural and historical, division of recent history and ethnographic
    department. Inside the Museum, restoration and conservation is done. Its
    job is the collection, storage, processing and presentation of cultural and
    historical heritage of the Šibenik region.
    In its collections there is a number of valuable items significant to the study
    of Sibenik's history from ancient times to today.
